Ben 10 Season 1 Scorecard

It's my 10th official marathon so here's a show with 10 in the title...Okay, i actually picked htis one because of how it's one of the bigger shows on my list, and how it has FOUR series, one animated film, two live action films, a cgi film and an upcoming reboot. And with all the debate on the quality of it, i figured...let's do it.

Now, we're not doing ALL of it at once. After i do the original series, I'll do something else, then Alien force, then something else, and so on. The other stuff will be shorter so i can get to them quicker. Never seen any of the show until now so this is interesting.

For our first season, it's enjoyable. It suffers from typical firs season syndrome with some filler, and the leads not always being the most likable, but it i's mostly good so far. The concept is pretty cool, i like the aliens and villains. Ben becomes more likable as the season goes on, and they end up using filler pretty well, and mixing in filler and story episodes well, mostly.

This is a more "fun" action cartoon than a serious one, which is fine and early on not a ton is explained, but all we really need to know early on is that ben can change into aliens, and some bad guy wants the watch. That's all the charecters know, so it works. They do start to explain  more, although even in the season finale they don't go into Max' whole deal but i assume season will adress it.

And yeah, the theme is awesome.

So yeah, an enjoyable start. Hopefully it'll get better, and heck, maybe the sequel series won't be so bad. ..I hope. See you for Season 2.
